The Florida Orchestra: Winds & Brass

The Florida Orchestra is bringing back its popular Masterworks Soundwaves concerts with a series of intimate performances throughout Tampa Bay, and Tampa Theatre is proud to be hosting The Florida Orchestra: Winds & Brass on Thursday, March 31.

TFO’s unparalleled woodwind and brass sections are in the spotlight, featuring Mozart’s Serenade No. 12, Britten’s The Sword in the Stone Concert Suite (conducted by Daniel Black), Gounod’s Petite Symphonie and Pergolesi’s Sonata No. 4, featuring TFO’s premier low brass section.

Part of the Tampa Bay Times Masterworks series, Soundwaves concerts originated last season as a creative way to offer great music with fewer musicians onstage due to COVID safety measures. However, the concerts quickly became a favorite with patrons drawn to the wide range of music and composers the orchestra doesn’t often get the chance to perform.

Tickets are $25.00 at the Box Office and $27.00 (with fees) online.
